Roach Spray Takes Stain Off Wood Floors
Take the rag and rub it a bit over the stain to wet the wood.
Roach spray takes stain off wood floors. Squirt mayonnaise onto surface and rub in around the area. Press the cloth onto the stain. Gently rub the oil over the stain. If removing stain from wood floors use painter s tape along the seams where the walls meet the floor.
Wearing rubber gloves and a respirator brush or wipe the bleach onto the bare wood. Some of the stain may linger after scraping. Put a few drops of cooking oil on a cloth. Use 2nd cloth to rub off mayonnaise.
Then lay it down directly over the stain and press it a bit so the peroxide soaks into the wood. It may take a minute of rubbing the oil in for the stain to fully disappear. The trick to making this work is allowing time for the rubbing alcohol aka isopropyl alcohol to do its magic on water based paints. The bleach quickly loses its effectiveness if you leave it standing. When the solvent evaporates all that remains is the pigment and the oil that is carrying it. Carefully scrape off as much of the paint as you can with a putty knife grab a rag dip it into a mix of 3 parts rubbing alcohol 1 part lemon juice.
Finally after you ve eliminated the stain wipe with a simple natural homemade floor cleaner and apply a thin layer of hardwood floor wax to the now stain free floorboards. To remove it dampen a soft fine grade steel wool pad with more paint stripper and rub it against the wood following the wood grain then wipe off the. Take steps to ensure that chemical stain remover does not splash or spill onto other surfaces. Allow the olive oil to permeate the stain for at least 5 minutes.
Then use a plastic putty knife to scrape the paint stain from the surface. Mix the water and bleach and pour it into a spray bottle. An easy way to remove this is simply to apply another heavy coat of stain. Spray the solution onto the exposed wood surface to lighten the stain.
Cover the paint with the solution and let it sit for 5 minutes. To bleach out a dye stain from a piece of wood apply the saturated chlorine bleach solution immediately after mixing it. The surface should be smooth and may be a little sticky from the stain. Apply a small amount of olive oil to any overspray on your wood floors.
