Revit Legend Floors
In the meantime here s a way.
Revit legend floors. The revit legend tool will not show floors in plan as of r2008. On the view tab under create you will find the legend button. It could be applied to many other things as well. This option is literally empty and therefore nothing will show up ever anywhere in the model.
Revit floor finish workflow thin floors i created a design option set called floor finish legend and renamed the primary option empty. You can adapt the name to match your existing standards. If you are creating a legend of modeled elements a wall legend for example then you want to set the scale to match your floor plans. This is one of the best workarounds i have seen for years in revit. The legend view opens and is added to the project browser list. Tag by material 3. Drag and drop on sheet repeat as needed this will be a dynamic legend which will not require much updating.
