Remove Ice From Freezer Floor
I need your help to solve this issue with regards our walk in freezers the temperatures are maintain very well in all freezers and because of getting high temperature while openeing the door the hot air from out side will go inside and codist on the freezer seiling then finally will dropp.
Remove ice from freezer floor. The bottom of our freezer was constantly filling with ice which would eventually start leaking out of the front of the refrigerator. Clean the outside of the freezer with stainless steel cleaner or another appropriate cleaner and microfiber cloth. If you cannot find a control dial then begin defrosting by removing the food and packing it in an extra freezer unit or tightly together in the fridge. Be sure to dust the condenser coils.
Here is how i fixed it. Replace all the shelving and food items. Use caution with wood flooring the larger than normal amount of ice will sometimes cause the drip pan to overflow onto the floor before you plug the unit back in carefully remove the back wall of the freezer compartment and remove any food or plastic particles that my clog the small hole at the base of the evaporator coils silver tubing. Doing so can damage the freezer liner and will likely void its warranty.
The steam and heat from the water should soften the ice making removal easier. I started with what looked like a 3 volcano with a 3 base lol was not funny to me when i first saw it.
