Normal ranks there are five leagues for established hearthstone players. I think a promotional floor is the first floor of a league the one you re on after being promoted all rank 10s and a non promotional floor is one within a league all rank 5s which doesn t count as being promoted. New ranks climbing resets since the changes went through we have 50 ranks instead of 25. Ranked floors give you cool matches while you are in that rank but if by mistake you start ranking up you are back in the same cancerous environment.
After all of that players will be promoted to legend which works exactly the way it did before. It s a nice first step but if they keep on releasing counters way too late ranked will continue to suck. Hearthstone has had pretty much the same ranked system for years. For example a player can be categorized as being in gold 5 gold 2 or diamond 1.
Each league will also have rank floors at ranks 10 and 5 where you cannot go down in ranks for match losses similar to ranks 15 10 and 5 in the old system. However the devs felt this isn t the best way to explain the way the game works and the arbitrary numbers don t make things particularly easy to grasp.
